Odds Lane

ODDSLANE is a uniquely blended mix of driving rock & roll riffs and solid grooves with an overall pop sensibility. They create music that fuses diverse influences from a wide range of styles, while maintaining the integrity of what has become their own original sound. The band primarily focuses on the material of singer/songwriter Doug Byrkit, who in 2003 co-founded the group with longtime musical partner Brian Zielie. Doug & Brian are continuing their musical partnership with their first album as
ODDSLANE entitled DARK MATTERS (2012). As the core members of ODDSLANE, the pair has formed a creative relationship that blends their broad range of musical influences, ranging from The Beatles and Led Zeppelin to Tower of Power and Miles Davis, with their years of experience recording and touring. ODDSLANE plans to promote the new record to radio, music libraries, and indie music fans alike. Currently the group performs in and around the St. Louis area in several different forms, from full electric band to acoustic solo gigs.

Featured Venue

The renovated Old Rock House building borrows its name from a historic riverfront building dismantled in 1959 to make way for the Gateway Arch. It features 6,000 square feet on three distinct levels, a state-of-the-art sound, light and video system and a menu created by an award-winning chef.  Co-owner Tim Weber (of legendary music club Mississippi Nights), believes this “integrated music venue, eating and drinking place” will allow for a new experience unlike any other in the St. Louis music scene.  Weber states, “Our aim is to accommodate what every customer’s version of an ideal concert environment is while still maintaining a rock and roll vibe. We plan to book the best talent and deliver it in the best, most customer-friendly environment. “
